Laboratory Technician – Bensalem

Department: Machinery Service


-Analyze oil, fuel and coolant samples using all methods recommended by Caterpillar’s analysis program within a 24 hour turnaround time.
-Prepare solutions, reagents and standards following standard laboratory formulas and procedures.
-Perform instrument calibrations or verifications as per SOP or manufacturer's recommendations.
-Analyze samples including the following parameters: water test, dilution, metals, viscosity, particle quantification, particle count, FT-IR, TBN, TAN, fuel glycols and microscope analysis.
-Enter all results from each instrument into the appropriate lab operating software.
-Comply with all safety standards for proper handling potentially hazardous chemical sources in the workplace.
-Consistently provide high level service to ensure our customer's needs are met.

Recommended Qualifications

-Minimum Six months to one year laboratory work experience
-Associate or Bachelor's degree in either biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics or microbiology.
-Intermediate computer skills including of Windows based applications, data entry and email
-Strong organization skills
-Stable work history
-Strong communication skills
