Cat generator switchgear employs a feature rich microprocessor based control system that is combined with an easy to use touchscreen operator interface panel. The entire system can be controlled from the switchgear-mounted touchscreen, or it can be controlled/monitored from a remote site through a personal computer. Foley possesses the know-how and experience to provide and install a switchgear power system that is ideally suited for your specific applications, and we’ll train you to operate it efficiently.
Standard or Customized Switchgear Power System Solutions Available
Caterpillar and Foley offers three standard switchgear products that can support a wide variety of applications or can provide a custom designed switchgear power system to meet your specific site's needs as required. Our XLM series products supports transfer between the utility source and generator bus, as well as affording capability for parallel operation with the utility for load management applications. The EGP series supports paralleling on an isolated generator bus and is commonly used in prime power or emergency standby systems. Finally, our LM series supports single unit paralleling with utility for load management and peak shaving applications.
