Environmental Health and Safety Manager –Bensalem, PA

Department: Occupancy - Bensalem

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for aspects of safety compliance to include OSHA, EPA and MSHA compliance.
• Identify safety and health hazards associated with business activities. Establish guidelines for protection from those hazards.
• Manage workers compensation claims.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations; identifying root cause, make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain required regulatory records and documentation to include employee training records and certifications.
• Conduct and oversee Safety Observations and Audits in the shops and field.
• Develop and implement compliance to align with Caterpillar’s standards.
• Alignment with our company values, promoting a positive work environment with a goal of zero recordable injuries.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years combination of training and experience in the heavy equipment and Power Systems Industries which provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Minimum 5-year experience in environment, health, and safety arena.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written
• Knowledge of EHS & Technical Training Job Role/Function, Local, State and Federal Regulations pertaining to OSHA, MSHA, EPA, DEP, and DOT.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and other related software.
