Machinery Field Service Dispatcher – Hammonton, NJ

Department: Machinery Service - Hammonton

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming service requests for Field Service technicians as needed.
• Complete Field Service Dispatch Sheets with imperative information relating to the request and inform customer at the time of call in, of current rates and the equipment’s warranty status.
• Open, manage, order parts and close work orders and include the information entered by the Field Technicians in DSI.
• Provide support to the Field Technicians scheduling work on appropriate shifts and assist in facilitating successful completion of jobs.
• Create quotes and obtain customer approval.
• Coordinate incoming equipment repairs with the appropriate Shop Foreperson.
• Collaborate with the Warranty Department to provide all required information to process claimable warranty jobs, eradicate defective work orders and complete warranty checklist.
• Work closely with the Service Advisor to ensure we are exceeding our customer expectations.
• Adhere and enforce compliance to all corporate policies and safety protocol.
• Review and monitor profitability, expense time and daily production of Field Technicians.
• Ensure the proper communication, management and tracking of machine repairs
• Conduct and complete employee reviews.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
• Experience with DBSi/AS400, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and other position related software.
