Parts Core Room/Warranty – Bensalem, PA

Department: Construction Parts - Bensalem

Responsibilities

• Maintain good working relationship with our internal and external customers.
• Work with a sense of urgency.
• Record keeping of Core Credit information.
• Verify & sign Core tag information.
• Document Core information on log sheets.
• Inspect Core, determine credit based on CAT Core Criteria, and ship Cores per CAT instruction.
• Communicate with shop foreperson, warranty analysts, parts personnel, customers in regard to the claim.
• Gather information from appropriate parties regarding the warranty.
• Communicate with appropriate parties to verify whether parts are warranty or scrap.
• Store and catalog Bensalem warranty parts when received, scrap warranty parts when notified.
• Perform monthly inventory and report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
• Load Core truck every two weeks with Core load and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Utilize forklift and other devices to load / unload / move parts and other items, as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment to include proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety policies / practices

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Mechanical knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills
