Responsibilities

SUMMARY:
The Energy Services Manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable sale of products within the Microgrid, e-Mobility, CHP, and Prime Power market segments. Additional responsibilities include strategic relationship and account management of aligned energy services companies, various supporting technologies/OEMs. The Energy Services Manager is responsible for ensuring an ongoing cultivation of strategic alignments that support the various requirements of the beforementioned market segments that is serves with a focus on enabling our customer’s highest level of success while in addition to maximizing profitability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Manage operations of Energy Services business segment and associated team.
• Develop processes and procedures around internal and external sales functions as related to Energy Services; implement and validate procedures.
• Evaluate industry trends and market conditions to determine their effect on CMCo and propose responses related to Energy Services growth.
• Keep staff abreast of CAT promotions, changes in CAT policies, and CAT specifications.
• Achieve company business growth strategies and foster teamwork.
• Monitor competitive activity and adjust marketing strategy. Evaluate promotional activities required and arrange them as per allowed budget.
• Work with various teams to provide strategic and tactical planning.
• Visit Customers with Sales Representatives during sales negotiations when necessary.
• Visit all key customers to build relationships, understand their concerns and operations.
• Develop plans in coordination with Marketing to secure new business.
• Monitor expenses and profitability.
• Develop annual sales forecast and action plan to achieve maximum market share and profit.
• Oversee quoting, ordering and installation to ensure a positive customer experience. Liaison to vendor partners and Foley, Inc. Sales/Service teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of industry related experience. Thorough understanding of the energy service industry and business development techniques
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
