Corporate Warranty Manager

Department: Warranty

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform preparation of warranty claims as needed for all Divisions.
• Ensure all warranty accounts are invoiced correctly. Monitor expenses of all warranty accounts including Foley Self Insurance Warranty.
• Communicate with District Reps and Factory Warranty Analysts to ensure fair settlement of claims.
• Ensure Warranty Analysts process warranty claims within acceptable time limits.
• Assist and resolve warranty related issues with Customers, Caterpillar and Foley personnel.
• Review warranty data and 6 Sigma Project reports and Ensure 6 Sigma Processes are followed.
• Monthly reconciliation of corporate warranty accounts with Accounting Department.
• Ensure Service Operation Departments follow correct procedures regarding warranty work orders.
• Review, track, report and resolve claim variances exceeding specified dollar amounts. Submit supplemental claims accordingly.
• Ensure all Allied warranty vendor guidelines are enforced, claim procedures followed, settlements received in a timely manner and monitor recovery rates for all accounts.
• Identify machines eligible for factory "hardship" support from Caterpillar.
• Monitor expenses associated with PIP/PSP Service Letter Claims.
• Ensure warranty work orders are closed and invoiced in a timely manner for all Divisions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance/repair supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to a manage team across multiple locations, traveling to locations if necessary.
• Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills: both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft platforms.
