Lower Truck Emissions
Emission reduction technology is also available for refuse truck and bus applications. Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC) and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) lower emissions on any refuse truck or bus equipped with Caterpillar and other brands of diesel engines. These technologies replace the standard muffler and removes particulate matter, carbon monoxide, and unburned hydrocarbons from exhaust gas.
