Extended Service Coverage (ESC) for Caterpillar Engines

With Caterpillar Extended Service Coverage (ESC), you get additional protection that’s just as durable and long-lasting—so you can spend less time managing your engines and more time running your business. ESC is available for new, used and overhauled engines, standby and prime generator sets, as well as switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and engine paralleling and integration controls (EPIC).  ESC is built to protect your investment and your peace of mind.

Choose From Several Cat Extended Service Coverage Options

Our Cat equipment Extended Service Coverage offerings include:

Provides coverage for generator sets and commercial marine engines in one-year increments with terms ranging from 24 to 60 months. You must purchase the coverage before your original factory warranty expires.

This Extended Service Coverage program is available if your Cat engine or generator set falls within the defined age and usage limitations, has not been overhauled in the past and passes the inspection requirements at a Cat dealer.

Your equipment is eligible for this coverage option upon the completion of a qualifying overhaul conducted by an authorized Cat dealer. Terms range from 12-60 months in one-year increments.
